I know, this is a jeep forum and not a ford forum but I trust you guys know what you are talking about so I thought I would start here.
I have a 1990 Ford truck 4x4 that does not want to go into 4WD-Transfer case shifts fine and I seem to be in 3WD-So, these are the original locking hubs, and I know next to nothing about hubs. Is it a safe assumption that's most likely the hubs?
I did jack up the front end, turned the hubs and all seems to work as it should. Anyway, if the consensus is hubs, what hubs should I be looking at?OR, is there a better site that I should ask this questions-I need to start somewhere and you guys seem to know 4 wheeling.
Thanks,

I believe Ford used Warn hubs which you should be able to buy a cheap rebuild kit. Hubs are pretty easy to remove, just unbolt and pull off. May be able to just clean, regrease and put back on. If the hub is toast check the pick n pull for a replacement.
