You can run the VIN on the JEEP web site to check recalls and a cooperative dealership contact can easily run the VIN to see what other service is recorded in the DCJ system. I've never paid for the latter but then I've known some folks at my local dealer for like decades.
FYI you can also get a vehicle "build" sheet at the same time which is handy to know how it came from the factory although sometimes the build sheet is a bit off. My 1993 D250 build sheet insisted it had 2.5" rear brakes but in fact it had 3" rear brakes on a 1 ton (not 3/4 ton) rear axle with a 3/4 ton suspension. I don't know about how things work now but for a long time DCJ was well known for not slowing the build line down for the exact proper part if the adjacent bin had an equivalent or better part so the build sheet might be a bit off. Not limited to Dodge; I had a Plymouth mini van that got a dinged front bumper (the metal inner liner not the plastic exterior) and after getting the wrong part (right year and model) twice I had to bring in the dinged piece so the parts guys could locate the correct one based on #s stamped in the part (IIRC it was the next year's bumper liner - almost identical but not quite although it worked just fine). No harm/no foul but entertaining for parts folks.
