not to resurrect this topic, I am looking to outfit my Liberty for Fire/EMS/Rescue (small mountain county= all in one.. lol). I have the front and back windows I think, but I want to literally be seen a mile away (I know not realistic but for my point) Now I know there are different laws in each state... NC is kinda strict but not really, if that makes any sense..

But yeah just looking for like a idea list or something!

Yup. finally got my lieutenant position and its time for me to actually buy everything. I am going to outfit mine with 5 Whelen Slimmisers Front and sides with the white/red combo with two whites in the upper corners of the windshield and one in the third window in the back. for the rear i am getting red/red combo since white can be blinding for on coming cars. Might not be as powerful to see from a mile away but whelen makes great products vs the china POS you can get on ebay.

Check out sirennet.com they have some of the best prices on lights and their demos show you exactly what you are getting for each light.

^^^ all of that is illegal in our area. You have to have EV (Emergency Vehicle) plates to have lights permanently mounted to your car. Lots of the volunteer fire men permanently mount stuff to their cars and get in trouble. They get fines all the time, running red lights, passing on the road. The get way too emotional, and dont realize that their vehicle is not covered under the Emergency Vehicle code.

well of course you have to have the proper paperwork and licenses to mount emergency lights and sirens in a POV and follow your states protocols......
