Pulling the map yesterday for cleaning. I leaned on injector return line. Broke the nipple off of the plastic block that is directly below map sensor. Plastic block has a total of four fuel lines and one bolt securing it to the driver side of engine. I have been to two dealers with no success as i am in California and don't think they get many crd liberty's. Please someone help me out! Thanks

Try this...

First, scan the NOOB guide - which is the top (sticky) post in the CRD forum:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=54207

Search down where it mentions Service Manuals and Parts Fiche, which has a link to this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=24600

Which has a link to a file server away from L.O.S.T. with PDF (online) documents for the Service Manuals and Parts Fiche.

Choose the parts fiche for your year, mine is 2005:

http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/ ... _FICHE.pdf

Download it to your PC. I recommend getting the service manual while your at it.

Open it with the (free) Adobe PDF reader.

Turn to page 260, Figure 14-430, and look at item 20 - which (on the right), reads:

20 BLOCK, Fuel Return 05142809AA 1

That should be your item.

Mark

If you are talking about the somewhat square piece with 2 fuel lines on one edge and a single line on each side that connects to that edge then you can make a brass replacement out of items that can be obtained at most any plumbing supply. fxjr73 built the replacement shown below.

PS fxjr73's comment on the job "here's that photo of my brass return block. I did run into one issue with this. The largest diameter fuel line had a plastic inner lining which was molded to the fuel return outlet/inlet. I couldn't pull it off, so I had to bend and break the lining. I clamped the remnant of the hose tightly around the brass outlet/inlet, but I'm going to replace that fuel line. In fact, I may just replace all of them."

Thank you guy's! Sorry that I missed the information that was already there. I had read the noob section and must have missed it. Had decided to build my own piece but just didn't know exactly the best way of doing it. The brass piece with fittings looks great! I will be going that route. Don't like the idea of relieing on a piece of plastic. Thanks again for your time! You guy's are awesome!!!
