Just another review for GDE on here.

I ordered my tune and I think it shipped with in 45 minutes of purchase.

I work nights so I uploaded the file from my ECU to be modified at about 4 am on a Saturday morning... I woke up around 11 and saw Keith had emailed me my modified tune at around 5:30am.... Did I mention this was on a Saturday morning? Not to mention he had responded in a email to an issue I had at about 10pm on Friday.

Does customer service get any better? :D

My tune is uploading to my ECU right now... Looking forward to the test drive and no more check engine light from the ORM mod!

Test drive complete... Very nice.

The biggest surprise was how much it smoothed out the engine. The throttle response is a huge improvement pretty sure I can say there is now little to no lag power is instant.

Looking forward to the improvement of mileage.

Only regret is I waited so long to do this because I was not sure it would be worth it.

Believe the hype....

Very pleased with my GDE experience, too.
Keith returned my call shortly after I left him a VM, determined that the eco tune best fit my goal, and I continue to be happy with the results

You wont get the mileage until you get over, stepping hard on the skinny pedal, in awe of your increased power and torque. :pepper:

I'm a happy eco-tune user, too. And to be sure, the best mileage comes with just easin' down the highway, holdin' 'er steady at 60 mph, and never using the brakes, coasting to a stop whenever possible. The more fun you have with that long-skinny pedal, the less mileage, it's a Law (of nature).

Best I've seen on a long trip on the open road was 34.75 mpg, just couldn't quite get it to 35. Overall average around town w/ some highway driving on summer diesel appears to be around 27-28 mpg.

So, OP, enjoy yourself, drive gently and enjoy the mileage, but do remember to do a few full-throttle entrances onto the expressway from time to time, just to keep the turbo vanes working and blow the soot outta the pipes.

Hey all. I also got the GDE Eco Tune and am new to the CRD and this forum.

I just wanted to throw this out there... my OD and trip OD are significantly off. You can read about it here.

viewtopic.php?f=86&t=74885

Bottom line, trip OD says i get 24 mixed driving, standard OD says 30 mixed. Please before you throw numbers out there, let us know what method you are using to track them. Are you using your trip OD, or standard OD, or GPS. Are your numbers GPS verified? Is anyone else having issues with the OD and trip OD showing significantly different readings?

Thanks.

Steve
