Pardon the delay in response, I did receive the Blackstone report in March but failed to report back.

Here it is:

Thanks for the note about the Rislone additive; you can see the elevated levels of zinc and
phosphorus. We've not seen a lot of evidence that more ZDDP leads to lower wear, but iron, chrome, and
aluminum are certainly low. Universal averages are based on ~6,300 miles of oil use, though, so the short
oil run is playing a part as well. We didn't have enough oil to test for fuel. You can go to ~6,300 miles for your next oil change and monitor.

MI/HR on Oil - 4500
MI/HR on Unit - 55,900
Sample Date - 3/5/2013
Make Up Oil Added - 6QTS

ALUMINUM - 3
CHROMIUM - 0
IRON - 4
COPPER - 3
LEAD - 1
TIN - 0
MOLYBDENUM - 41
SILVER - 0
TITANIUM - 0
POTASSIUM - 0
BORON - 69
SILICON - 12
SODIUM - 7
CALCIUM - 1250
MAGNESIUM - 1086
PHOSPHORUS - 1592
ZINC - 1891
BARIUM - 0

cSt Viscosity @ 100°C - 67.6
SUS Viscosity @ 210°F - 12.32
Flashpoint in °F - SHORT
Fuel % -
Antifreeze % - 0
Water % - 0.1
Insolubles % - .2

Looks almost the same as my results on my Detroit Series 60 with 25,000 miles on the oil without any additive. Your report didn't show TBN level, or you just didn't post it, but my guess is the TBN is holding up very well. Either way, you could easily go much longer on the oil before changing, if you had a desire to do so.

Yeah, on some reports that is an option for TBN, nitration, oxidation, etc. I have those done with all my reports, but then I am taking drains to 25,000 miles plus. At 25,000 on my Detroit with Delo 5w40, the TBN is still in the ballpark at around 7. Delo is a real good oil that holds up quite well, and the price is pretty good at $19.98 at Wally World. That is why I have been throwing it in my CRD. Probably should run some samples on it in that just to get a look see on how it is doing. Will do one the next time I drop oil in the CRD, and have TBN and such also done.
