I am debating on taking it to a shop that I have used for some other work and letting them take the liability. I don't have any sort of variable torque impact tool. My compressor isn't even big enough to run the air tools that I have. I have done two timing belts, a rear main seal, and many other repairs/upgrades to my CRD. This one scares me. I seem to have bad luck with stuff that is stuck.

I would puke just to think I had to replace the rear main seal. taking the transmission down makes the glow plug job child's play...

That's the encouragement I'm looking for.
