AMSOIL Series 3000 HDD 5W-30 at 2 year intervals, generally about 24,000 miles. Also have AMSOIL bypass filter. Change fullflow filter at 1 year, bypass at 2 year intervals. Doing this since 2007. Backed up with OA.

I know this will raise questions and eyebrows but it works for me. Got the CRD with 17K on the clock, now almost 99K. Will be doing the timing belt in a couple of weeks.

Ah-ha! Someone to verify that I saw Series 3000 5w30 for the Liberty CRD --and someone with 24,000 miles on a single change to boot! (i realize it likely has a lot more to do with the filter)

By the way, the Series 3000 HDD 5W-30 is not new, been on the market for about 15 years.

I was probably reading an older thread that said "new."

FWIW, here's the description of Series 3000 from their site:

Quote:
Engineered for pre-2007 diesel engines in on-road applications as well as all model year diesel engines in off-road applications. Also engineered for all gasoline engines recommending API SL specifications including turbo-charged vehicles. Provides superior wear protection and fuel efficiency.
