I know this will raise questions and eyebrows but it works for me. Got the CRD with 17K on the clock, now almost 99K. Will be doing the timing belt in a couple of weeks.

Ah-ha! Someone to verify that I saw Series 3000 5w30 for the Liberty CRD --and someone with 24,000 miles on a single change to boot! :lol:

(i realize it likely has a lot more to do with the filter) :wink:

By the way, the Series 3000 HDD 5W-30 is not new, been on the market for about 15 years.

Change oil and filter every 6000 miles
Shell Rotella 5w40 and Napa gold filter
Inspect and clean air filter every oil change, Change air filter when it needs it
