How are you liking your lift kit?
Looks great! What mods did you make that are shown in the pics that have new black spray paint?

Thanks,

Tom

Front:
OME 790's & NS131's
1/4" Top plate
3/8" clevis
JBA 4.5 A arms

Rear:
4xCustom custom rear coils
Monroe Sensatrac Coilover shocks
(2) additional Iso's

Tires: 245/75 r 16 Cooper AT3's

Pinch Weld was flattened when tires were added, there was some minor rubbing before lift but there isnt any now. Setting at 22" front and 23" rear. I think the back will settle a little more once all my gear is added.

I like the lift. The ride is better than stock, I'm still trying to find the correct ride height. Initially I was at 21'' all around and after an alignment and settling the front end dipped down to 20.5 so, I recently cranked up the front to 21.5, still have the a lot more adjustability available. However, I think I'm right at max for now. I've only been able to test on road. I am looking forward (if all goes as planned) to test the lift at Tennessee in about a month or so (ECS).

Tony

Tony & John,

Nice work. My second Jeep has a budget lift as the original owner called it and it is HORRIBLE !!!
My first CRD I owned I put at standard OME lift and it was great. I plan on keeping this CRD for the long term and can't quite sell myself on spending $1,800.00 for a JBA lift. Marlin builds great equipment but I am sitting on the fence.

OME lift and JBA arms aren't close to 1800 bucks not sure what you are looking at

Tom, I am very sure where I am looking at... in fact the 4.5" kit is more than the bronze kit that I referenced

Please see the link. http://jeeplibertyliftkits.com/jeep-liberty-lift-kits-2002-2007/2-50-kj-lift-kit-jeep-liberty/jba-2-50-coilover-lift-kit-bronze-package.html

Since you were talking about the OME before I assumed thats what you were still on.
I know very well what the kits cost first hand trust me.
If you are looking at the adjustable coil over then it is very much worth it. Not only the ride but also the adjust-ability of it

Tom, I should have been more clear in my writing. I see that you are indeed very aware of the quality that Marlin is known for.

Edit:

Old post but I noticed I didnt put the info about the lift in there.

-Rustys 2.5in Front coils
-OME shocks at all 4 corners
-OME HD rear springs
-AirLift Rear Air bags

darn this is almost exactly what i want to do to my jeep, only thing i would change is moving the lights to on top of the bumper or on the windshield frame.

Looks very nice. How tall was the lift? And are those the factory control arms?

It came out to about 2.5" after settling. Adding a top plate and rear iso's this weekend, and some tires within the next few weeks. They are moog replacement arms, and don't even come close to hitting the coil.

Wow, those 245's look small! Has it settled yet? I've been thinking of some 927's to replace my MD, but might go Ironman if yours is settled in
