Threads like this would scare someone away from the CRD way faster than that Consumer Reports garbage they published.

Hopefully shoppers won't visit this forum before making their decisions.
Well I did try to start the thread in a positive light.... Like I said to begin with, I dont think it is something to worry about untill it is proven that a turbo blows, and Jeep wont do anything about it. Im going to push the oil in intercooler thing to the back of my head untill such time. I know what some people are saying about the VWs, but how many VW engines are perfect to begin with, no offense its just my opinion and what I know from having a girl friend that worked at the claims center for a dealer.
I guess Bottom line on this is I LOVE THE DIESEL you couldnt rip it way from me, It gets the best gas milage of anything in its class and some out of it, it hauls, pulls, rides, swims, muscels its way in the thickest mud sand lake river swamp hill it comes too. Only wish I had a SFA for it, but even thats not killer. This jeep is the real deal and anyone that thinks its not up to par can come show me why with their pathetic little hybrid fords and 4 banger CRV craps. Turbo problem or not its worth it to have the awsomeness that is the CRD!
there is that better, I really ment everything I said.
