That was my first thought, too. It didn't really make any extra room to fit anything in there.

There may be some cutting that still needs done but it would it be better than punching a hole saw through the side of your rig? I havn't put to much thought into it.

When you get some time Gage if it isn't to much trouble get us some close ups of what you've removed :D

I'll get some pictures of how it looks under the hood tomorrow.

Bought a ScanGauge2 this morning and so far I think it's really cool. I will be selling my Autometer Ecometer if anyone wants it.

Wife took it to get washed today. She wouldnt tell me how much it costs lol. But sure looks clean. One of our dogs gets car sick so it needed a good scrubbing. Now if it would cool off a little more here I can finally get my lift on.

I took it to the beach today. Didn't take any pics, but the girlfriend loved when I made the rear face the water and sunset. I opened the tailgate and we sat there watching the sunset

This is where I put my newly purchased ScanGauge2. Perfect spot in my opinion. :grim:

Finally cleaned the mound of junk out of my car, time to go work on my cigarette lighter/aux power outlet to see what's up.

Also considering getting a ScanGuage II for that 9999 mpg I see :ROTFL:

Haha yeah, I can get it to do that under the right conditions. Usually happens when coasting for a long period of time without the throttle after a downhill.

Just changed my front differential fluid. I feel so stupid that I put it off for this long. Took 15 minutes.

Reinstalled my CB antenna because it got ripped out when I went wheeling last

Used a pre-drilled light mount on the brush guard as the mount, I'm interested to see how the reception is up front and if it annoys the crap out of me while driving

I've been told that mounting the antenna on the front gives better reception.

I'm traveling 120 miles tomorrow up route 81 so I'll see if I can chat with the trucker friends, I had the worst reception above the taillight (compared to on the roof rack) so we'll see how it goes.

Have you had your system tuned?

Yep, I've borrowed SWR meters and tuned it up and I've had the system running for about 9 months. Problem is I have a 2' antenna because I originally went off my roof rack and didn't need a larger one. When it was over the taillight it barely made it to the top of my roof rack so reception went downhill, still was decent though.
