I watched the suction last night. Ridiculous prices. No way a '64 C10 worth $42k. Not even restored. Stupid California rich celebrity mindsets that drive prices up so high and they brag about spending more money than the other guy. For what.....just so they can say so. Grrrr. :twisted:

So any takers to help me with an ENTIRE roof replacement for my garage?!?!?!?! :shock:

"If you want out you'll have to leave in the next ten minutes
if not could be noon or after", driveway, whole front lawn lined up with concrete "culverts" so no can't even sneak out through the yard to leave. :roll:

Trying to throw together some numbers this morning with a few better figures I have this morning. It's looking like about a $3,000-$4,000 fix, that's also siding the garage. All new trusses, new sheathing, underlayment, shingles, 2x4's for the side wall repair, siding, gutters and maybe some beer, forget the pizza :shock:

That would make my garage killer strong, look good and give Suzi along with all my tools/toys a very nice roof over their heads. :twisted:

A similar garage to what I have now all brand new would be somewhere in the $20,000-$30,000 range, of course having it built for me. Doing it myself, right about $15,000 with premium everything.
I also want/wanted to redo my entire bath which would be a gut job BUT I need to build another bathroom in the basement before that can happen so now I need to figure out the angle of attack. :banghead:

Starting to look like a new vehicle is out of the question once the daughter gets the Honda. Barbie is getting back into the Jeep :banghead:

and you have 4.10's and 4wd for what reason????? How are them sliders and skids?

Hart, feel your pain. I bought an S10 blazer back in 2001, let the wife drive it. Next thing I know, she hands me the keys to her Subaru and says " here honey, go trade this in on someting you want, I'm taking the Blazer."
What the..???
So 2 months later we had 2- S10 blazers in the drive.

Rough weekend, my tractor quit charging, while working on it Friday, smoke began to pour out from under engine cover. Got it shut down, pulled tins off and the wires coming from charging stator under flywheel are crispy black. Thankfully had a spare. Got it back together then it wouldn't start. Somehow the strands of wire pulled out fo the connector of the fuse holder feeding coil, not sure how that happened. Got it all fixed, running and charging again!!!!
Then went to start the craftsman mower to cut grass, dead battery so hooked up charger/booster. Let charge a few minutes, then hit boost. As soon as I turned over motor, charger made loud noise and smoke rolled out of it....something fried in it. Cheapo Harbor Freight charger.

Then mom got bad diarrhea about a week and half ago, then she quit eating last week cause she would throw up. Put her butt in hospital Friday, doing a throat/stomach scan today to see if anything wrong on top end.

Always something!
