The more I get done before hand the less we'll have to do that day and the more we can just take our time and enjoy the Liberty's ! :P :P :SOMBRERO:
Maybe we'll have to line them up before and then after and see who gets the best holeshot with 4.10s :ROTFL:

They are in fact 4.10s , not only by tag but also on the gearset themselves :pepper:
Haven't cleaned up the backing plates, etc yet but the parking brakes don't look bad at all
Almost ready for you now  I also have a couple of more tricks for doing the front diff to be even quicker that I think will work :SOMBRERO:

Those gears look GOOD! The wear pattern is excellent - this is perfect!

Those parking brake shoes are FAR better than mine - replacing them has been on my To-Do list for a long time. Will be good to have working parking brakes.

As far as the front diff...Anything I can do on this end to help with the install? Don't we need to cut one of the mounting bolts (the one obstructed by the LCA) and need to replace it? I can stop by Fastenal - or even better, Hartville Hardware - if we need one or all of them.

Five days and counting 8)

P.S. Let's test out the holeshot - I think I gotchya though. I have 255/70's, remember? :ROTFL:

Yes you can tell that its a low mileage rear. Nice and clean inside . I'll sand the brake shoes a bit and they'll be fine with your disc on.
Yes we'll need that one bolt is all for the front if you want to pick one up if not they'll have one uptown at our little hardware store.
light coat of primer on it where I sanded / cleaned it up a bit.
OH and if you want some hose for the rear diff unless yours is in good shape and a small hose clamp for the breather
keep adding to that list

thanks tom i take great pride into my AV work even tho when some people have no faith in what i can do hope to have my own full PA in a few months< i have a friend that is selling one of his rigs for 3 grand but if i want to move it from gig to gig i will need to find me a small enclosed trailer because the 3 subs are the size of refrigerators the one is big as a side by side and the other two are about the size of a normal one

Nice setup Nick.
Wished I had the ear for it, literally. I can't hear certain tones in my right ear so makes it hard for me to run the sounds board at church sometimes.
Our sound guy at church toured with Toby Mac for a bit when he went solo so he learned a lot from helping run sound with him.

Does Chip still make front top plate spacers??

Spent Saturday building a ramp/platform for my mom and all the old people in my family  To get it this old house takes minimum of 3 mostly 4 steps, my mom, sister, and older relative have a hard time so I built this. Still have to finsih railings, but usuable for them when they come over Thanksgiving.
I haven't even bought the house from mom and it's killing me already :ROTFL: :ROTFL:

Chips not making those anymore
JBA has them
plus Rustys Off Road but you have to redrill theirs since they don't fit

Is that ramp ADA compliant? Looks too steep  :goink:

Of course I was polishing it up, not a power ball, some sanding disc but clean off light rust really well

Well, that drill has a power ball installed, just sayin' :goink:

Got a buddy at a machine shop..... 'nuff said :SOMBRERO: he maybe able to take care of me for top plate!
1/4 or 3/8" ?

compliant...what's that? Ain't nobody inspecting it except my mom so phooey!
I know it should be longer, if compliant, ramp would start inside the garage :dizzy:

"That guy up the road " that we built a ramp for a few weeks back
well tried to talk him into making it longer explained the reasoning, but no.............
yesterday he stops by and says " we should of built it longer so its not so steep"

Some people :banghead: :goink: :goink: :ROTFL:

Not too hard to make some top plates
1/4 or 3/8 inch, all depends on what you want, what springs you're using and if doing a clevis as well

Working on a shopping list...

1. Als Upper A-arms for 02'-07' lifted Jeep Liberty's
2. 2x Moog lower ball joints
3. 2x front sway bar bushings
4. Upper Rear control arm

Are there any other suspension components that I should look at for replacement? Getting up to 100K miles and I want some of the clunking sounds to go away and feel like it did when it was younger.

I had a torn CV Boot and the whole thing was replaced under a lifetime warranty...they noticed the wear on the rear upper control arm bushings and suggested I replace it.

Any help appreciated.

That is cool I have met Toby Mac a few times interviewing him and have worked michel tait but if you need any help with advice on installs or pricing on gear let me know I have a few contacts with some dealers

Make sure you get the Mopar tri-link, those cheaper ones are no good in the long run
Sway bar bushings I have a set laying up here if you'd like them, think they are Moog or something have to check. ( at least i think they're still on the shelf) Got them 100,000 miles ago for mine but since they're still quiet and no wear really, no need to replace mine

Oh so anyone who has ever been to my place for any "upgrades" knows how the day has to start out. You all know where to meet, where I will be, whats going to happen.
Bobs coming Thursday, said he'd be here at about 9:30, guess we'll break tradition for him ( just this once ) so we'll see how the day goes. Not sure if this will be working against the God of Upgrades or not :-)r :-)r

I had originally only did 8' ramps because of the AC unit. I decided to make it 10', was going to have to cut the corner by AC and mod the ramp some. I first decided to add a couple extra 2x6's bolted to porch to move the decking out some then I was able to move AC unit over just a smidge so no modding. I realized then I could've have went longer once I moved AC unit. I can always add a few extra feet if need be in the future with out too much extra work.

Stock diesel springs on a gasser with 3 conduit nuts clevis spacer. The partial lift will go in storage right now, with us now moving houses, no money, no money, no money, to buy extra needed parts. Just want 1 to 1-1/2" lift right now
if my buddy can mill out the spacer, I will have him mill a couple clevis rings before he cuts big hole!

Uh oh, I don't want to tempt fate Tom. If I'm disrupting the routine I'll change my ETA - we don't need any unforeseen problems due to my ignorance of the rules!
