I have done all the work on mine, but I am not a mechanic by trade. I haven't heard of any CRD mechs in Ft Worth. What problems are you having?

had timing belt and water pump changed at Q Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge. They are expensive but that was October of 2012 and no problems.

Thanks Tedder.

Rabert,

I have a CEL P0234 which I can't figure out, and need to have the compressor for the AC replaced.

Chances are your P0234 is a failing boost pressure solenoid (PN 4606226AC for like $46 at idparts - might be about the same at a local dealer) although it could be a) a clogged air filter or b) a clogged boost pressure solenoid air filter (the little filter canister hanging off the side of the black vacuum tower behind the air filter box. Check those 2 filters, replace if need be, and if that doesn't cure the problem install a new boost pressure solenoid.

Assuming your AC compressor "really" needs to be replaced (as opposed to something else is the problem) any decent AC repair shop can handle that job. All you need is the right compressor (PN 55037467AB and also available for ca. $360 at idparts)
