Snatch straps are pretty good too. They aren't as universal as a recovery strap though.

There's one type that has more stretch and recoil than a standard recovery strap. I can't get a link but if you google smittybilt snatch strap you'll see what I'm talking about.

Here is a video of a Liberty pulling out a Range Rover using a Snatch / Recovery Strap, you can see the flex in it pretty well.

I think it is an ARB strap, I know its wasn't cheap.

Thanks to everyone who answered my many questions.
X-mass was a little late this year but I finally got my present. 8)

The best deal I could find on the net was here.
Even with the non-member pricing and shipping it was much less then other places I could find.

Now on to looking into a bumper for my rig and a winch.
