Hey everyone, I know I'm pretty new on here and most definitely NOT a good mechanic, but I've been really happy with my 05 CRD that I inherited from my wife last year. Buying her a new car was the best decision I've made in a long time, and I got the Limited CRD as my own car.

I took it into Diesel Repair and Performance in Parker, CO because I didn't have the stones to replace the glow plugs and do a timing belt replacement as my first gig on the mule. They did such a sweet job on it, and when they broke one of the ceramic plugs they took the whole thing apart and cleaned it up on their dime. Ran better than it ever did.

Then I got the GDE Eco tune, and it runs even better now! It's been below 0 a few nights, even 10 below, but with the block heater it starts right up at 6 AM. The 4x4 totally chews up ice on the road. Better than the wife's new AWD acura.

The engine is going to work for about 10 more years. I'm thinking about getting the JBA suspension for this year, because I'm hoping to keep it a long time. Maybe give to my boy when he's a teenager.

I totally dig this forum, but there is very little in the way of how totally badass this little Liberty is. I'm gonna keep on trolling the forum now, looking for new information, but I'm giving a shout out: I LOVE THIS LITTLE JEEP! Woot!

I need to lift my '06. Guess I'll wait 'till I get some priority things done to it first, such as the thermostat and engine mounts and left rear window regulator. Got the parts now I gotta make the time.

This forum as far as I'm concerned is the bees knees.
