Hey all, please add as much information as you feel comfortable giving. This is for current and future members. At the very least please provide a first name, location, LOST #, and your KJ stats. If you are willing to help out other members with modifications, advice, or tools go ahead and add that as well.

Most of my info is in my profile, so I won't add much here.

As far as what I can offer to the group, I don't have much automotive mechanics experience, but I have been taking classes and have installed everything on my Jeep.

I also have a site that I use to keep track of KJ products and links (http://www.youngs.org/kjparts) that you may also find useful.

I've only been doing this for about a year and a half, so I don't know many trails, but I have spent some time in Moab (Gold Bar Rim, Kane Creek, Cliff Hanger, Chicken Corners, 3D Trail, Gemini Bridges, Poison Spider, Flat Iron Mesa) and some local trails (AF Canyon, Little Moab). Also went to Big Bear 2005 and did Gold Mountain twice.

I spent the first 10 years of my career in the Army as a tank mechanic so I do have some mechanical and recovery experience, unfortunately though, I don't know much about working on KJs. The Army keeps me pretty busy (in Iraq right now) but if you need help with a project and I'm available, I'll be there.

I have decent assortment of tools and am more than willing to help anyone install parts or work on their KJ.

JJ - krazzle from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Not a mechanic by any means, however I have installed most of my mods, not without some problems  . I can lend a hand if anyone needs help.

Always up for wheeling!

Jim in Wheat Ridge(Denver).
I've had my KJ for about a year now. I didn't install my lift but I have been doing all the other maitenence/mods myself. I'm willing to add an extra hand to anyone that wants it and ready to go wheeling almost always. I think my 5 year old daughter is becoming addicted to "jeepin".
I made it to the Moab event this year and plan on going back every year. Hopefully we can have a larger group from the Rockies chapter there next year. This chapter is getting more organized and has a lot of great people in it, so that's exciting.
Can't wait to explore more trails with the ones I have met so far. And looking forward to meeting the ones I haven't met yet!

I used to be a moderator and the vice president of the NM chapter of New Edge Cougar Owners, but I traded in my cougar for the Jeep. I'm busy alot with school and work, but I love working on cars, and I'm always willing to lend a hand. I dont know much about fourwheeling, it's new to me, but I'm dying to get out there and break the Jeep in.

TED! Welcome back! If they start doing the pull outs in `06, you may not have to go again.

Cross-train....there's another option...of course since SF is undermanned, they most likely wouldn't let you.

Sean here in Denver or Englewood (I like to say I live in Denver)

Just got an 03 Renegade completely stock and since I had to buy my wife a car too its probably going to be stock for a while longer. :(

I have no garage, no tools, and very little time so most of my mods will be put on in the shop. Hopefully I'll get that lift and tranny skid on soon so I can hit some trails.

On a side note I think I saw Tokyojoe's Liberty on Tremont the other day, if not it was somebody in a Khaki Renegade with a lift and L.O.S.T. stickers. Pretty cool either way.

Hey Kikens, no worry about mech skills, KJ is pretty easy.

Maybe one of these weekends, we can do a mod party at someone's house with a big garage.
