Well I was going to make my own rear bumper and use the hitch mounting points to mount it to. Now for the front how did you go about doing that? Drill holes in the frame rail and mount it up like the rear hitch is?

I used the unibody pockets. They covered up by metal caps. Cut the opening a little bigger and used 3/16th 2x2 square steel. Mounted that inside the pocket and bolted down with grade 8 bolts. Drilled holes on the square tubing sticking out to mount the bumper

Ok so did you weld in a nut onto the square tubing to make bolting it on that much easier or did you just fish around in there until it was bolted up?

Held it in place with a magnet over the bolt hole inside
Threaded the bolt through the nut until it was on there good enough
Then used a socket wrench to tighten it up

I used a coat hanger tacked ro the nut.
