I got my Jeep back today just in time for the snow.

The dealership realized that my forward body control module was supposed to come with THREE relays, but it didn't. I'm not sure what they do, but they seemed to have done the trick. The Jeep runs like a champ and the lights and sunroof work well.

So if you get a "no bus" message on your dash, and all of your lights on the cluster go on and off, you may need a new forward control module unit. I've been using my $20 OBDII reader a lot as I drive around, so now I'm wondering if that has caused the early demise of the unit. I think it is more likely the corrosion.

Do you mean the part number on the three relays? Do you think they made it up, or is this for helping others down the road?

I am not sure what this forward control module does, but if the original OEM unit had two relay and now the dealer replaced the unit with a new revised unit that has three relays, then I would like to know what the part number is for the new forward control module with three relays, just in case I encounter the same problem.

No, I am not being facetious.

part number 56010545-AN

That is the number for the BCM. I don't have numbers for the relays.

Nice to hear your snow plow is back in full service mode. Question; did that fix the problem with the key fob?

Yes everything seems to be working fine. I'll post if that changes.

Is this the part number for the BCM or the Forward Control Module? :?

I think we are talking about the same thing. It's the forward body control module. It's the silver box mounted on the driver's side just below the battery. That was the computer they replaced. I have no idea where the three relays would have been, what they even are, or what they look like.
