I bought a Autoscanner plus from auto zone . I came up with 4 codes P0299,P1250,P0102,P0504. I have an 05 2.8 with 110000 miles on it. I bought about 3 weeks ago so I'm a little new to this vehicle. I do have other diesel vehicles. Timing belt, thermostat, and water pump have been done. When I first got it, ran great , now it runs like a slug , looking for help Tim

P0299 can be viewtopic.php?f=5&t=61240 or a bad boost pressure solenoid (see bypass test at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=70602&p=757348&hilit=boost+solenoid#p757348)

P1250 also appears to be a boost pressure solenoid issue

P0102 is not listed but a google search suggests it's a MAF sensor issue (top of air box outlet). Not uncommon for this to get dirty or for the plug to be loose or for it to be triggered by a dirty air filter.

P0504 my notes say P0504-BRAKE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUITS PLAUSIBILITY WITH REDUNDANT CONTACT - could be as simple as a sticky or bad brake pedal switch which IIRC is at the upper end of the brake pedal under the dash and behind the plastic cover above the pedals.

In addition check your CAC hoses off the vehicle for cracks/splits/soggy with oil and if found replace with Samcos and while in there pull the airbox to turbo hose and check bottom by turbo for split; if split replace and be sure upper end touches or nearly touches MAF sensor before snugging down, no godzilla, the clamp. PS check turbo fan for play - slight fore/aft is ok barely perceptible side to side is ok, more of either is bad.

Running like a slug is likely CAC hoses or boost pressure solenoid although it could be MAF sensor related.

P0299 – Turbo Underboost Condition
- Check other service codes first
- Blocked or leaking air intake system
- Damaged turbo charger
- Faulty Boost Pressure Sensor

P0250 - Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid 2 High Voltage
CRD's have no wastegate, maybe turbo boost control solenoid problem

P0102 - Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit Low Frequency
- Faulty mass air flow sensor
- Intake air leaks
- Dirty mass air flow sensor
- Dirty mass air filter
- Mass air flow sensor harness is open or shorted
- Mass air flow sensor circuit poor electrical connection

P0504 – Brake Switch Circuit “A” / “B” Correlation
- Faulty stop lamp switch
- Blown stop lamp bulb
- Brake switch harness open or shorted
- Brake switch circuit poor electrical connection

I bypassed the boost pressure solenoid and wow did it run . I figured I better order a new thanks Tim

Boost pressure solenoid PN is 4606226AC. It's used on several other vehicles so aftermarket ones may be available but I've not located such a PN.

PS edited, my bad, as my original post listed the PN for the boost pressure solenoid FILTER. Must pay better attention to the the section headings on my PN list.
