That building is awesome ... it's freakin' Fort Knox though! She has to go thru two sets of eye scanners to even get in her office. Every floor requires a badge scan, so if you aren't permitted to be on that floor, your badge won't open the door.

A group of friends & I take a kayaking/camping trip every year on/around Labor Day weekend, this past year was the New River. It was a great trip, we did about 35 miles total over two & a half days, camping (...drinking), music, camp fires, etc. Amazing time.

Craigslist is always a great place to check, I got mine at Richard's, but only because I got an amazing deal on it.

I've been on the new river and nolichucky. The new river was amazing! It was tour guided so we didn't camp at either river.

I'm going to eventually get a Kayak just have to get around to it.

I bought my KK then I bought a kayak. First Jeep first kayak.
My friends daughter, collage student said" well of course you bought a kayak, you drive a Jeep." LOL she had a Jeep, but she just tubes.

I'd like to get one but it takes some coin first Haha. I'm lucky that the National whitewater center is close by.

That is very awesome. Our Goldie would NOT sit still on that at all, so it's a lost cause. My kayak was originally about $550 at the time, I think I ended up paying about $250 for it after taxes, etc. I was lucky enough to get it on sale, then I had a coupon, & I had a lot of Richard's score card cash.

Unfortunately I've found a squeaking/creaking noise coming from the front passenger side.
When I simply touch or squeeze any part of my cv boot it makes a noise.
If I have time tomorrow I'll take off the wheel and see if I can verify where the noise is coming from. Easy to duplicate the noise when it's parked. Rarely makes the noise when driving.

I had to take my yearly menu test for Outback. We used to hand write it, literally every word on the menu had to be "memorized" and written, then they changed it to fill in the blank. Every year we all cheated and management knew it. It's literally a 3 hour test. The servers that knew the menu would finish in 2 hours. This year they made it online, takes about 5 hours or so. There's videos to watch, can't skip those, then there's questions to answer. Then when that's all said and done there is a fine test that's built like a game. I'm happy to say I cheated. lmao

If I have a few spare minutes in the morning I'm gonna check out the front swaybar and see if any bolts are loose. Chasing this minor squishy/squeaky/creaky sound upon very slow speeds over a large bump.

Any plans today? It's supposed to rain today so I'll have to do some chores inside the house.

Another morning of negative temps. -7 this morning, to be exact. I could've sworn someone told me it was spring...

Pretty proud of the paper I wrote today for my Ethics class. It's nice getting school work done so I can worry about more important things in life like Jeeps. :seuss:

Lol you might be right. Boring topic for the most part, but on a topic I'm pretty knowledgeable on. Had to write about the conflicts businesses face versus environment protection.

Gage a perfect example for that is when I worked for Eddie Bauer in college. Anything that was barely damaged or too old to sell was destroyed.

I tried to reason that we could cut the tags and donate it but that wouldn't fly. Eddie Bauer has a lifetime guarantee on their clothes. Is it ethical to not donate you could argue either way.
