Itching to do some modding. Good thing my 60,000 mile maintenance interval is right around the corner so I can finally turn some wrenches again. Looking forward to doing the differential oils again. :JEEPIN:
Also going to check my spark plugs next time I have a free minute. Just want to make sure everything looks good.

I forget what I paid last time. A Google search suggest about 10-15 bucks per quart.

Thinking about ordering up a Lost decal. What color do you guys think would look best to get? My KK is all black. Either going to put it on the rear quarter window or the rear back glass.

Not black lol. Rachael gave me one when I first joined, and there's no point to me putting it on. My windows are tinted and the sticker blends in...

Check owners manual for fluid type and amounts, I checked online and the KK is different. I have a KJ and 1 gallon of 85-140 dyno will do mine.

I was thinking one of the reflective colors.
Ugh this darn squishy noise is bothering me that I can't pinpoint it.
I think my buddy is coming over tomorrow to give me a well needed hand finding the origin of it. :banghead:
All of the researching I've done points to the sway bar bushings, but I guess it could be something else. Only happens at VERY slow speeds on the passenger side somewhere.
The noise is a bit louder when I jiggle the Jeep with the hood opens, but I guess that's only obvious.

Just curious but has anyone seen or know someone that has the JK light bar mod done to their KK and have more than just 2 lights? I just wanna see what it looks like compared to an actual light bar there instead. My paint and photoshop skills are horrific so I gave up on trying to create the image a few hours ago lol..

Thanks

I have not been on the forum for a wile or have not done anything to the jeeps just been doing sound engineering for some concerts at my church.

My setup is the full Behringer X32 at FOH and if there are any other sound techs on the forum that say that behringer stuff is total crap, look at it this way it is a Midas mixer with Klark Teknik processing and the Behringer name on it

amps are 2 Crown XTI 2 4002's for subs and Mids
2 Crown XLS 1000's for highs and 2 monitors
1 Mackie 808S for 2 monitors

crossover is a DBX Driverack PA2

speakers are subs B-52 LX-18EV3
mids are a set of dual house brand 15's
highs EV ZLX-12's

monitors are 4 JBL MRX500's
Image

Image
the computer on top of the amp case is winXP pro for band manager 2.0 to control the XTI 2 amps

Image

Image

the computer on the right is running the Driverack PA2 software over wifi from an second gen apple airport extreme

My Jr. sound Tech Zoey

the setup for the next day was for a dinner at the church Sunday night.

At some point the the mids will be replaced with something I just don't know what yet.
Also will be adding at some point a set of small center fills for in front of the stage at full range, because if you are at front and center the mids and high's are a bit muffled, was thinking a set of 10's running the M/C bus on the X23.

This past Thursday we hosted a concert for the Band "The Afters" and Kyle Sherman

this was my this was the stage setup

That is going to be one high drummer

Image

Mmmmm perrrrrrty lights

The Afters sound check

so if anyone needs a good sound tech let me know

That reminds me... I had a dream last night I was trying to flex one of my wheels on some type of curb and when I got out, it almost rolled. Glad that was only a dream! :grim:

Still be helping my buddy out with his Forester. We've gotten three out of the four coils on.
Seems like we've ran into every possible worst case scenario. One last bolt to get out.

So I set up my schedule today. Only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Earliest class is at 1P.M. I did have a problem with one class. It tried telling me I didn't meet the prerequisites. Called up the school they said that's weird you meet everything, I'll just put you in the class

Went for a walk with my girlfriend in her neighborhood yesterday. Couldn't help but notice the 3 people within a few blocks of her that have KK's are all 2008's. With mine included, that's 4 2008's within a few blocks of each other. :JEEPIN:

I'm debating taking my DuraTracs off for the summer. It will all depend how much, if any, my mileage changes with summer blend gas. As nice as it would be to have them for some summer shenanigans, the mileage I could recover for my daily commute would help the wallet.
