nope, he is not trolling :D
actualy He wont get flamed in the newbie forums. I don't recommend the same post in the other Jeep forum

And even if the forums are not usually "family friendly" Pirate does not condone "board wars", the parties doing it will get banned.

yea I just checked and so far nothing bad has been said. And I figured I would post it due to the fact I have the thickest skin known to man. I get so much crap about wheeling my KJ, that I'm used to it and just laugh now. Besides I wheel like I have something to prove and that means I just work a little harder to go where that lifted TJ just went.

i think it's because it's in the "newbie" section. not that there is anything wrong with that.

now it is getting some heated conversation on the other forum (not the newbie forum). Real heated. One guy has a screen name that sums up his opinion.

Hey I just thought I would update this post.... For the most part I have got nothing but good things said about the KJ's there. In fact we may have given them a new light to look at our beloved KJ's with. There is only a couple people that have had neg. to say.

You Beavis the 3.7 is actually a benz motor

The 3.7 in the current Liberty is the V8 in the GC knocked down to a V6, which is part of the reason it has the vibration issue. This engine was around before the "merger".

The V6 going into the new Wrangler is not the same and is a much better built engine and doesn't have the the vibration.

I think you'll be eating crow on your comment.

The new Wrangler engine is actually from the Caravan.

Some of those posts over there are pretty funny....and everyone thats posted has a point...but I just don't see anything good comming from fanning the flames over there. Some offroaders have no room in their world for anything that is different than what they have or like. Best just to let them have their prejudice's and enjoy the 4x4 you have without be concerned with them. You'll never change some peoples minds...If they like your jeep...does that really make it better ?

Just my 2 cents
