K. LED bar should be here today. Don't believe it comes with the harness. No big deal but I'm a lil baffled. All the harnesses I'm looking out appear to be set up for two lamps having the 4 wires being run to the lamp. Unless I'm mistaken, the bar will only have the 2 wires. Should I be looking for a specific harness? Those of you with LED bars who have purchased a separate harness, links would be wonderful right about now.

I'm waiting for mine (I got in on that $49 deal, thanks to you :) when I went back it was back to $160)
Anyway, not sure if it will make any difference, what if you just use one set of the wires, instead of both?
This is the wiring kit I got from Amazon:

Nice. Glad you got in. Even more glad I caught it. Ha ha. I just hope the light is decent. But again, for that price, who cares. Lol. Ill find something to with it.

That's the harness I was looking at on amazon as well. Is that doable to just use one of the leads? I like the thought of that cause I can tape up second lead and use it on another bar in the future.

You'll like this one, this is the instruction that came with it.
It says you can cap one leg if you're not going to use it.

Wait...that came with the light bar or you purchased that seperately?

Not sure if you said whether you got the bar yet.

Purchased seaparately.

The led bar came in today, there's a note from the seller acknowledging
their price mistake, so they encourage to leave a positive feedback instead.
Anyway, Good news...
I tried them on (still waiting on my Rhino rack)
with a spare 12v battery
and It works. I used only one set of wires. Led bar came in with about 2.5 feet wiring, just basic Pos and Neg.
The leds are Bright!
Now I just gotta figure out how much to extend the wires and route the wires to the roof rack.

Nice. I got mine today too with the same letter. Ha ha. That looks pretty sweet. Looks bright looking at it, but without a distance view it's hard to tell. Would you anticipate a problem wiring it up directly to a spare battery without the harness to make sure it lights up or should I avoid that?

Did you use any mounting clamps?

No. Just put the clamps on and layed it in the roof. Will actually sit higher once I mount it to the rack.

That was actually my next question. Do you have any idea what mounts your going to use to mount it? I have been searching online but not lining anything. Only one I thought if do if the KC mounts but they are like $20 a pop (sold individually).

I'm still waiting for my rhino rack.
Once I figure out the diameter of the tube, I might go with a "p" clamp
style light mount.

I just bit the bullet and ordered these. Only ones I felt were solid enKC Hilites 7301 Light Mount Bracket for 1.25"-1.5" Tube Clamp by KC Hilites http://
www.amazon.com/dp/B0002MAFR4/ref=cm_sw_ ... 82E1QYough for the bar.
I didn't want to spend $40 on a mount but hey, at the end of the day I spent a lil over a hundred dollars and got a bar, harness and mounts. Can't complain about that. Lol

Got it done today... I got the KC mount 7/8"-1" and it fits my rack perfectly.
I ended up drilling the KC mounts, because it didn't line up correctly with the light bar mounts (the rack's flooring/support was in the way)
BTW, this thing is BRIGHT! It lit up my whole house and the entire block lol.
How you doin with yours?
