the problem with the front is the the way our struts conect at the bottom, clevis side. there are no shocks the the ones that we know that have that mount. how ever you can fabricate a fort style mount and use other coilover shocks,
i have morris4x4 one of the biggest 4x4 suppliers on the us right next to my and i id some research and it can be done, with fox and other name brands but the clevis mount need to be fabricated like jba did. with the right setup you can order coil the the right rate and have a better articulation but we are talking already custom work that at the end if you don't have the resources you can stick to the jba adjust a strut. that is a great set up but in my opinion if should offer the option of a different rate and longer springs for the 4" to provide more travel.
don't forget the fabrication is trial and error and at the end more expensive....
More travel?? Not much more to be had than the JBAs
You're limited by not only the Cvs but also control arms etc. What JBAs have is about the most you can get out of the front of the KJs/KKs
Now different rate?? Not really seeing that as an issue
