Anyone have pictures of egr location. I suspect oil is dripping past gasket and onto floor. Can I just unbolt 8mm threads pull gasket and do red temp RTV.

Location: Somewhere between Heaven and Hell... But it is really hot here on Earth...
The EGR itself is located on the driver's side of the block at the back. If you hold your hand between the fuel filter and the engine, the EGR is directly below your hand 1 foot down.

However - There shouldn't be any oil anywhere near that. It is bolted to the side of the block in that location to keep people from messing with it (because they KNOW that it is useless and destructive!) but there isn't any oil being fed to it. Where is the oil on the ground? I can probably pinpoint the source for you with that info, but much more likely is that it is coming from the turbo return line, or rather - from the CCV rotting out the airbox-to-turbo hose, and the oil then runs down the front of the turbo ONTO the return line, and drips on the floor from there.

Obviously all that is on the passenger side however. If the oil is on the driver's side, it could be the boost hoses weeping (are they covered in wet filth? Then they are failing and oil-soluble!) or from the intake at the EGR's connection to the intake. If it is this last location... My best suggestion would be the Weeks101 Elbow kit - that eliminates the entire problem area, then all you need is a set of Samco or Mishimoto silicone hoses to ensure no further boost leaks.

When enough oil goes through the CAC hoses, it dribbles down into the metal EGR tube and collects there. Runs rearward and can weep out of the connection clamped by the two bolts and diamond plate. The real solution is a Provent.

Or, do the EHM and take the oil out of the intake and EGR system entirely! Be kind to your hoses, turbo, intercooler, and intake system....then the oil drip goes away. :D
