Hello all on or near I-95!
I'm back on the East Coast again, and I have another timing belt trip to plan out - The last week in May will find me in NYC, so this will be a quick trip, but I'm happy to stop by and work on your CRD if you would like. I already have one signed up in Baltimore for the weekend of the 24th (Probably will work on his on Sunday the 25th) so there are some times open.
More people signing on means less travel costs for everyone, and saving money!
I have personally worked on over 30 different CRDs, all of which are running smoother than ever before (so says each owner after the timing job) and I am confident in saying that there is not a mechanic in the country that has worked on more CRDs than I have.
I do the timing belt procedure in just about 3 hours start-to-finish, the front end DOES NOT need to be removed for my process, and I even capture all the coolant and you can reuse it or replace it - None is wasted or spilled. No special tools or locations are needed, if all you have is a parking place, that is ok.
Even considering the skill level I bring to the job, the price I ask is still a bargain. $900 for the labor for the full job, plus a share of the total travel expenses. Parts are sold in a complete $400 kit from IDparts.com (I don't get anything from them for the referral) and comes with everything needed for the job.
Dealers charge anywhere from $1800-$2500 for this service with parts... And that is IF they have ever seen a CRD before! Don't let them experiment or learn on your vehicle!
Time is short for signing onto this trip, so don't wait. Send a PM to me, and get on the list!
