It felt weird to me to use it in my ZJ in full time on the road. It wasn't noticeable at all in 2wd on the street. Offroad it worked well until one wheel on that axle completely loses traction or leaves the ground. Then it may as well not be there. As for snow, I don't know. It never snowed during the time that I had the true track.
I think that the one-wheel traction thing is a non-issue on the KJ's with traction control since it can apply brakes to each individual tire as necessary. With that system, you would never need to manually apply to the brakes to overcome that situation. The jeep would sense that tire spinning and would only apply that one brake, leaving the other tires to freely rotate.
