is it not a nutzert? aside from tack welding it, or replacing the nutzert.. i dont know.. put a old bolt in it to protect the threads and grind some jb weld in the gap around it or inject epoxy using an injection tube, its like a football pump needle with and syringe but i doubt the retention of either under radial torque of removing or installing a bolt if you dont get good saturation around the nutzert

do you have access to a wire welder can sometimes extend the wire and bend it enough to get somewhere to get enough heat for fusion even in the absence of the shielding gas

Yea, I have a mig and tig welder but the way it's designed, it's pretty hard to lay down a good bead. Also if i happened to be able to weld it, the weld would stick out and the bushing likely wouldn't fit (rear uca bushing has the metal flange on the top). Getting a grinder in there to flatten the welds would be darn near impossible. If I get some time, I'll pull the uca and snap some pics. Its not really a nutsert. Its a square base nut that looks to be held in place with some sort of thin tabs(to keep from spinning, and moving upwards). Last resort would be to cut the channel it sits in, and weld it from the inside, then weld the channel back on.
