Just for completeness, here are a few more photos from my rear brake job.

The sorry state of affairs I began with:

A casualty of the job:

Rotor finally off, and a good view of the parking brake shoes and the star wheel adjuster:

The reason the rotors were stuck: a raised ring of rust behind the parking brake shoe tracks.

New rotors and pads installed (but still showing the oem calipers, which I later replaced with Napa remanned calipers):

Great pictures of the job. Please keep us updated on how the quality of parts are that you used.
I'll have to replace my brakes one day... hopefully not soon since they are rarely used. :jester:
