Works! Exactly what I was up to my armpits in last week when I pulled my valve cover off...twice. What all are you doing?

For what it's worth when posting an image I've found that, depending on the site hosting your image, sometimes you have to use the LOST Img tab and sometimes you don't. In the latter case if you use the LOST Img tab the image won't show.

I use dropbox and post images and attachments out of my public folder.

Jeep has been down since February, bad turbo seal. I was super fortunate not to wreck the engine. It was below zero and the roads were very icy, I had to drive slowly on county roads for about 5 miles. When I got to the highway I accelerated briskly, looking in the rearview I saw the cloud of death. I pulled off the road and shut it down. As a LOST lurker, I had known of the turbo issues. I walked to the rear to open the tailgate ( I was carrying 2 gallons of oil ), and saw the oil running out the exhaust. Gee what could cause that? Dipstick was dry, it took 3 quarts to restore the level to normal. I added the last quart, and drove home slowly. It didn't smoke unless I drove over 35 mph. Long story short, it has been down ever since. Big project, I have made many changes. Like every project, it went over time and budget. Hopefully it will be running in the next week. I plan to chronicle the whole process in a series of posts. This community has been really helpful to me, gotta give back. I'm just figuring out how to post images, I took many pictures. Here's a teaser.

Maybe you should start a new thread with a more suggestive topic name, so we all can benefit from your experience and also to find the thread easier with a more suggestive name.

You made some mods in there as I see. The idea with intake heater is pretty cool, corvair had a similar idea.
