How in gods name do you remove those things ? I looked at the manual and it shows a seal, snap ring and crush washers. Right now I don't see anything to let me take out the seal.

Any ideas ? pictures maybe ?

Instructions are available in Section 9 of the 06 FSM available at http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/

funny that is from my first post :)
but the tool specified in there is basically what im looking for. The tool actually has a diagram on how its supposed to be used. Now I have a pretty clear picture of what im trying to do to get that out. Alternatively Ive sourced a seal puller tool locally ... basically looks like a pick.

Essentially the Lisle tool is a fancy pry bar or pick and might be good enough to pull a good seal so it can be reused as opposed to using a thin screwdriver and something for a fulcrum to lever it out.
