Insider trading. It's illegal...well in this case unfair lol. On the bright side, Morgan is pretty quick with his projects. How do you manage to find time for everything?

I wonder the same thing too haha. Took me nearly two months to have my rock rails built to completion and he has 4 sets done in a month...

There is actually a ton of stuff going on behind the scenes before he even announces that he is coming out with a new product, which typically involves building the prototype, figuring the angles of all the bends, welds etc, then the design is announced to the public for an initial run. The sliders were definitely longer than one month in the making, I would say closer to 2 or 3.
I have been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to test all the new stuff and provide feedback where it could be improved.

It's crazy to me that he is able to pump out all these awesome creations, while maintaining his life with his girlfriend and a full time job. Not to mention fielding the slew of questions he undoubtedly gets about process, shipping, new creations etc. All while building from his current stock of plans.

On top of all that maintaining 10x better customer relations than Rock Lizard Fab

ha ha my thoughts exactly. I've been trying to convince him to go full time into the fab business... He'd be cranking out stuff in record time then!!

I opted to work only part time at my day job for the winter.. I just work as efficiently as possible really. All the plate I use is now cut for me on a cnc plasma table, which speeds up assembly enormously.

Glad your so motivated. It's great to have a fabricator for KK owners. I can't wait to see what's next. I know you have the dimple die set of sliders in the works(try not to make these too nice, I can't just ditch my RL sliders for yours lol).

Ever think of making metal fenders(flat or similar to stock)? I know there's a few guys out there that would love the extra armor. Hell, you could even make skids and people would probably buy them.

If you're going to make a new fender than it'll have to be the WHOLE fender, not just the flare. And even then the bracing to the unibody will be very tricky. You could made a new fender panel to have tabs that can hook into the various nooks and crannies the unibody has but...Without drilling the unibody it'll be tough to mount it. The unibody mounts will be the hardest part to overcome...

^^^ yep, just replacing the flair only would be for looks. There isn't anything substantial to tie into.

those fenders would have to somehow hold the factory turn signals or have recessed led turn signals. maybe the flares could be built into your front bumpers Morgan?

They could but you need more substantial bolt locations for the rest of the flare. Also there is an inner fender that you can't really cut. Building things solely for looks ain't my style..

Those are awesome! Have you thought about making a set that would tuck up closer to the doors for those that may be interested in removing that piece of sill molding?

X2. I crushed my passenger side in and don't have the patience to heat it up and reform it. plus most of those clips broke off.
