just wondered if anyone knows about any GOOD trails in PA? Im starting to go thorough off roading withdrawal. I can not go to Virginia every weekend and have no intent to go to rausch creek knowing they don't allow any single vehicle "groups". even those trails that are just dirt roads with a few fun spots. :JEEPIN: :CAMPING:

EDIT: I never go alone off road. some one is always with me. people and or vehicle.

You can go to Rausch with just 2 vehicles. And you might want to look up some Rausch videos on Youtube. The videos you must have seen are green trails. There's more than just the dirt roads. They have a few rock gardens and difficult crawling sections. Check out Yellow Jacket for one.

Basically everything in NY is illegal unless it's on private land with the owner's permission. There are beaches, but you need passes and special equipment for those. NJ has more that's legal. The Pine Barrens(which I believe is mostly trails and fire roads), some other random trails and areas that locals would know about(there's a lot of NJ guys here so ask around). I'm not sure about PA. But I know Rausch is there, which is where most LI guys go. I know a guy a town over from me that rolled his TJ there a few years ago.

Ohio has a lot of legal wheeling and off road parks I believe. Not sure how far of a drive that is for you, it's way too far for me.

Less here in Ohio than anywhere else really
Couple of places is all and very few township roads that are some fun in southern Ohio
We go elsewhere most times

Well Tom corrected me. Ohio has slim to none, and NY has nothing legal aside from beaches(and maybe a few dirt roads upstate). Staying in PA and visiting NJ are probably your best bets without going too much farther. The best wheeling is out West. Cali, Utah, Colorado, etc. BUT that's a hike...

I've had fun at Forked River Mountain in New Jersey Pine Barrens area.
Go there if you're ever in that area.

Ohio has 6 or 7 small places that are open legal parks. And one 1500 acre park.

Then there is also the land that clubs own and open up to nonmembers once or twice a year.

The is actually a lot but there isn't alot of big well known places like harlan, or ruasch,
