I've been thinking about this for some time now, but what if we KK owners put a JK door hinge mount on? The JK hinges would need to be bent to fit our KKs, but should make taking the doors off easier. I haven't seen any implementation like this before. am I crazy, or thinking to hard about this?

the sheet metal by its self would rip or bend the second the doors weight would hang on it, but what if we came up with a bracket to connect the factory bolts to the JK hinges?

Thoughts?

Don't know how well it will work or look. Honestly, JKs with power locks/windows aren't that much easier to remove than our doors. The hinges take a little longer on ours, that's all.

It's only what 4 bolts and a wire harness connector? Not worth the R&D

I agree with bmxer and NAMoulton. It is only 4 13mm nuts, takes me a total of 7 - 10 minutes to take the doors off and mount up my tube doors. Not really worth the experimental venture to cut 10 minutes.
