Glad to hear that! Enjoy, and I hope you don't need to get that deep into it again.

Does anyone here use NACOOL in their CRD? It supposed to prevent electrolysis. Just wondering. My dad has used it in every diesel he has owned starting with his 1985 Ford 6.9L.

When I replaced my head gasket I did noticed the effect of electrolysis around the water ways on the al head. It was quite heavily pitted. I didn't take much notice at the time but after reading about the number of cracked head, head gasket problems this maybe something that is being over looked. Some Mitsubishi engines suffer badly with the effect of electrolysis and head gasket problems.
