Ok added coolant today, driving now and will check for leaks after work :)

I really appreciate you guys help too, I do not know a lot or much about vehicles so having it spelled out helps a lot.

I will post what I find later today :)

Ok after adding coolant, running it and letting it cool down, it has ssucked up some from the bottle. Can't see any leaks as of yet.

Will be checking the boots tonight..

Also something to check is to make sure your tow haul button isn't halfway pressed at all. Mine was and still is incredibly sticky. Just had the dealer push it down on me "for testing" and i spent 10 min with a can of air popping it back up. It was giving me weird acceleration issues but no light on dash

Ok so I have a bit of an update. I have yet to figure out what the front rubbing noise is however, I have a bigger issue now.

Today I tested to see if the parking break was working ok, and usually do as I don't use it all the time. After engaging, it wouldn't release.

The strange thing is I was able to drive it home from work, but it was making break squeeling sounds every so often. So I think what has been going on is that the parking break has been partly engaged for who knows how long and now its stuck.

It's going into the shop in the AM where I will have them check the front end too.

Oh and it also has a coolant leak from somewhere near the middle and is dripping onto something that is super hot cuz I can hear it evaporating. I may also have them look at that.

As for the plugs I may try those on my own or see how much the shop will do it for.

I'll post another update when its in the shop.

Not good news, but at least you are making progress.
Let us know what they find.

Ok so I got it back later yesterday. $1250 later...

Front break pads replaced
Front rotors resurfaced

Lower left ball join was worn out and was said to have caused uneven tire wear, that was apparently the wub noise I was hearing, so ball joint replaced and tired moved to back so it can wear normal again. I can still hear the sound from that tire :/

Replaced emergency break shoes and spring.
Free up cable cams (this soaked a bunch of time cuz they were rusted to doo doo)

So now the breaking is smooth and the ghost boat has gotten way lighter :P

Still not to snappy off the line but I assume if I do the plugs that will help.

They also did a pressure test on the cooling system and couldn't find any leaks.

Next steps for me, plugs. I've never done anything like that so it should be an adventure :P

Thanks for keeping us updated.
The plugs on the 2008 are very easy. I've done them more than enough times.

I would definitely replace the PCV valve while your at it. A faulty PCV valve can make your engine run sluggish, idle poorly and reduce mpg's. Most people don't even think about replacing it as part of normal maintenance. I find replacing it every time you replace your spark plugs to be a good rule of thumb.
