So I'm fed up with the regular lug nut caps falling off from over torquing at the dealership when getting my tires rotated. Especially since I dipped my rims black. So every time one falls off I have to touch them up. Can anyone recommend a good replacement one piece lug that I can get in black that will fit the KK? I've seen some from Gorilla Automotive but not sure if they are any good. Thanks.

steel ones are better then oem. oem are junk and kill studs quick. ask me how...

I torque mine to 100 ft/lbs. I had my lugs painted. I take off my tires every week it seems like and it would be a pain if they were painted. :2cents:

Bought these a few months ago because my OEM ones were losing the acorn crowns. Very happy with them as they fit in the well so much better on my Mamba rims.

:ROTFL:
218,000 miles on my black KJ, rotate tires every 3000 miles, plus all of the times for changes to the lift etc, still have all of the original stock lug nuts
Its all how you put on and remove them No studs have been killed on mine
While i agree they are not the best, letting tire guys hammer away on them isn't going to make anything last ( some never check their guns and just hammer away)
Which will even cause issues with high priced ones
The 03 I just bought had 11 bad ones total, could see the marks on them where a gun had hammered away ( :banghead: :furious: )
Good thing is I have a few extras
