Not sure if this has been covered before, but my 2005 CRD has a squeaky rear hatch. It only squeaks on bumps when I am in dirt roads. I do have a bigger wheels then stock, that are heavier. Any suggestions or fixes? thanks in advance.
Erick

Just wrap a bit of duct tape around the lock bar - 1 wrap should be enough.

I had this with the glass squeaking, particularly in winter. The striker plate that the latch in the glass hooks into is adjustable. You can remove the cover on the back of the swing out door to access it. I moved mine so it resulted in the glass being held tighter against the rubber seal. It does not squeak anymore.
