Dash lights go out

When I turn on my headlights the dash lights go out. No clue, any thoughts

What year/model is your KJ? I can look up the circuit diagram for any possabilities!

The left stalk on the steering column where you turn the lights on also has a rotating switch that allows you to dim the cluster lights for night driving...try turning this switch to see if maybe it has been set to the maximum dim position. :wink:
