Stay tuned. It all depends on whether some things come together in the next few days or not.

Sorry, not going to happen.
I found an ATH roof rack/basket on Craigslist for only... $125!!!! (And only 15 miles away from where I live.)
But it has already been sold to a guy who wants to modify it and attach it to his Ford Bronco. Dang! Too slow.

That reminds me of something i have to paint and mount still...

$40 air up system. 20oz bottle and a $15 coil and tiny pieces to fit them all together. More economical than OBA. $450 badass air system, or $40 +$4 fillups

Did this yesterday:
Image

Took both puppies to the beach, they loved it. Best part is the golden didn't pee in the Jeep this time!! :pepper:  :pepper:

I had fun, played on a few rocks, enjoyed some 4Low, and played with the puppies.

Now my list grows, I need to wash her, change my brake light, retorque all the front bolts (I have an occasional clunk), sand, paint and reinstall my rock sliders...probably some other things too.

Btw, anyone know what kind of bulb our brake light is? I haven't had time to check the manual...

He's been great. About a year and a half old now, so he's full grown and only about 25lbs. He's really well behaved aside from being stubborn about cuddling and coming inside. He just loves to go everywhere with us and my girlfriend treats him like he is her kid lol

Now the golden on the other hand....6 months old and he's really dopey. He's learning from my sister's yorkie, so he thinks he's a lap dog... And he keeps peeing in the house and occasionally pees from excitement. Still cute though.

Hang in there with the Golden...Mine was a goofball until he was 1.5-2yrs old, males take longer than females by a good 6months...but after that...most other dogs you see you will judge and consider them regular old dogs with hardly any sense...heh. Im not joking I have had dogs my whole life and he is by far the smartest, and nicest dog I have ever had. Other than his hair being freakin everywhere all the time. I have a pit as well that is about 3 now, and he is stubborn as hell, but very loyal and I have only seen him be aggressive towards other dogs once or twice before, never with people. But the Golden can trick him without even trying, hes way smarter than he ever will be. They both act like lap dogs when they can and both weigh 75lbs.

Oh I know. This is my 5th golden now. My family has had golden since I was a kid. We ended up with this one because I had to put my buddy of 12 years down over the summer. This is honestly the dumbest golden we've had. The rest were all house broken by 6months. Hyper, but house broken.

I think my next golden will be a girl. They just seem calmer as they get older. Now it's up to convincing my future wife for a golden. She loves other breeds, like huskies and obviously our beagle though. I'll settle for 2 dogs, just no cats...ok maybe 1 cat (she claims she needs one...), but once I find it on a counter or table it's done lol

Changed out the halogen lights on the roof rack to LED. Much happier now. Imageone big light on each side.
Imagethese on the back. Angled just right for tailgaters.

Looks good, Dan!

So today, I tore my front end apart trying to find a clunk. Retorqued EVERYTHING, found the upper bolt on the sway bar link was a little loose, so I tightened it. I must not have been able to get enough on it when I last checked it (don't worry Tom, I jacked the front up from the lca so there was weight on it). Problem solved... for now. Next step is to see what is causing the vibration at 75+ mph.

Turned off the annoying seat belt chime. I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt, but the weight of some of the gear I occasionally sit in the passenger seat is enough to give me the seatbelt chime while driving. I found the procedure for a JK Wrangler and decided to try it out on my KK... it worked! I haven't seen it here before so I thought I'd share.

1. turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, and buckle your seat belt while sitting in the drivers seat.

2. turn the ignition key to the ON position (engine should not be running), and wait for the seat belt warning light to turn off.

3. unbuckle and then re-buckle your seat belt at least three times within 10 seconds, ending with the seat belt buckled. then start the jeep. (i don't know if starting is necessary, but i did it)

4. turn the ignition key to the OFF position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming.

The process is actually in the manual that came with the jeep! Theres other steps you can follow to change auto door locks too

Added a 14'' light bar to my liberty. Surprised with the light output, I have a second grille which I planned to cut and mount the light flush in, but I sorta like this look, we shall see.
