Hey guys I traded in my CRD the other week and wanted to say thanks to the community for the help in keeping the Libby going. It was a good vehicle when it ran right but I was done with it after changing the head gasket a second time and still was experiencing coolant lose. The head came back from the machine shop with no findings so the problem may be in the block and I wasn't going to get that deep into it. So off it went and a BMW X5 35D replaced it. I couldn't give up owning a diesel and after looking at the X5 I was sold. I know I have some extra parts floating around for the Libby.

The listed parts are used but serviceable.
Lower radiator hose. Changed at 140k miles when I did the head gasket again
One motor mount
Oem CAC hose. Was replaced around 120k miles when I popped the other one and went to Samcos.
Fuel sending unit. Adding lift pumped
Old style fuel filter head. Weeping fuel around plunger but the fuel heater isn't leaking. I unplugged it years ago before it could melt.
Oem right hand axle shaft. The boot went at 140k miles and I just bought a new axle and intended to replace the boot and keep it as a spare. Never made any noise.

I actually don't want anything for those parts. If somebody can use them, come get them. I was planning to just toss them out but I thought somebody could use it.

I do have 3 of the new metal 5v glow plugs.
3 Mann oil filter
OEM fuel filter
L/H front wheel bearing with abs sensor.

Haven't determined price yet on the new parts.

There may be a couple gaskets also.

Thanks again everyone I appreciate the support this community gave.
And here's my new baby.

Congrats on the purchase. The 35d's are animals. I was seriously looking for an 08-09 335d about a year ago and test drove one and it pulled like a freight train from like 1000 rpms. Not only that but guys on the forums were getting them close to 350-400 whp with a tune and some minor mods. Thats why I wanted it so bad. Its a super nice, comfy daily drive that gets high 30's mpgs and can make 350+ whp. The only other thing I could have asked for was AWD but it looks like you have that covered..

Traitor! What's wrong with the good old Michigan steel, ha? Lol. Enjoy your new ride! BMW are nice and polished vehicles.

The 4th Plug was installed before I traded it in. You can have the glow plugs for $15.00 a piece if you want them.

Thanks. Yeah its killer. It really is impressive in the smoothness and power delivery. BMW puts an 8 speed trans in them now. Nobody even realizes its a diesel with how quiet it is. Now to bad GDE doesn't make a tune for it. I'll be looking into that soon enough I just don't want to void the warranty. 50k miles everything is included but tires. Oil changes, wipers, DEF fluid and then after that it is a 100k mile warranty.

LOL. I tried to go back to Jeep and looked at the Grand Cherokee but that little Italian diesel put such a bad taste in my mouth I wanted nothing more to do with VM Motori. I've still have my Wrangler though so I'm not leaving the Jeep family.
