I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited. Right now I am in the middle of installing a 2.5" Daystar lift. In order to do so, I need to adjust the cams of the LCA to bring the LCA out a little bit. Unfortunately, the cam bolt snapped on me. So here's my question: How am I supposed to get the bolt out? The end with the nut is the end that snapped. I thought it would be easier now and I could put a ratchet on the head and ratchet it out like normal, but it doesn't want to budge. Could it just be seized in there? I don't have a complete understanding of how the assembly of the LCA works, so this might seem like a dumb question. Any help would be appreciated!
First can we talk you out of installing the Daystar? Not a good way to go.
BUT,.....
Second there is no need to move the LCA until you get ready to align it
Another BUT,.............. now you have found out that they are frozen, so will any of the rest turn?
If not then you will need to cut them out and install new bolts if you can get the old ones out of the LCA.
If not then new LCAs/ New bolts, and just wait till you price those dealer only bolts !
