Since the last time I fuel up, my rig has been going into limp mode. It does it if I full throttle hard and hold it while moving. Also from dead stop at full throttle it will shift a few times to about 60 mph then shut off. Restart clears the limp mode and there is no codes. Anytime this did it before I replace the fuel filters and all is good. This time it still does it so I poured 911 in the fuel tank but I don't know how long it will take before it will start working. Seems a little better but not fixed yet. I wonder if anyone had same problem and what they did. It otherwise runs great and has plenty of power.

If I have to rebuild the entire fuel system I rather sell it.

What does this mean?
Are you saying that the transmission will shift normally up to about 60mph and then the engine dies?

What are you using as a code scanner?

Do use a pre-filter for your Facet pump?
I added one to mine that has a clear glass body. Makes it easy to see if there is lots of crud in the fuel.

My CRD was going intermittently into limp mode when my MAP sensor was on the fritz. Good ole GM #55206797 fixed it right up; mine was throwing a code though. YMMV.

Yes the engine is accelerating nicely winding out to 4k for a few shifts then engine shuts off at about 60 mph like key is off. I have it in my shop and have a Encore Bravo 2 that is updated so I will see if it can go deeper than the obdii reader. I use the pre-filter for the facet since installing long ago and same purolator as you describe. I clean it along changing main fuel filter and was black coated but not clogged. No problem starting after filter change so I don't think air as I had problem before filter change.

No code but mine is original so it won't hurt to change it.

Before yesterday was over and 1/8 tank of driving the 911 did it's job. When floored the data shows over 21,000 psi rail pressure and MAP as 68 HG. I floored it going up a 9% grade and it went up like a beast hitting 70 MPH with more to spare. I will notified the Shell station about their load of crap fuel and get fuel elsewhere next time.

I'm still going to sell it as this experiment is too temperamental and not for an old retired guy. First 8K gets it.

To be fair, bad fuel will take down any diesel engine.
Be thankful that the CRD has a plastic fuel tank...

At work I drive a GMC6500 with a CAT engine.
During a drive down south I filled up and about 30 miles later the engine was running rough.
Poured in some diesel 911 and it didn't help. 20 miles later I was limping along I-95 at 15mph.
Took forever to get to a parts store that had filters for it.
Changed one of the filters and mud came out.
Got the truck back on the road and completed the trip without having to get a tow.
I now carry 6 spare fuel filter (this truck has two) in the truck just in case.
In this case, the problem was not bad fuel. The metal fuel tanks had all kinds of rust and scale inside and all that crap plugged up the filters.
