So, I drop the transmission to replace the TC, and swap the transmission out with a lower mile one that has the updated pump, and guess what? My jeep apparently has the updated pump also :?: These morons replaced the pump but didn't upgrade the TC while they were in there?

ahh, the pump upgrade came before the "Euro" TC was available?

Not that it really matters since I swapped the entire transmission, but at least I have an extra upgraded pump I guess

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I have the new cover, I have the new pump right?

Euro TC's were only available as replacements for a short while. An early member here Worked for Chrysler and assigned the 2007 TC that had a updated engine over the 05-06 and required it. It was found out and the Euro's were no longer used here.
The the updated pump was required because the original front seals were no longer available as they changed with the pump.

So when they replaced my TC with an Euro one they also put in the new style front pump :SOMBRERO:

Nice, thanks for the info. Makes me wonder why my jeep had the updated pump, but no Euro? Maybe it is, but the numbers weren't updated on the TC housing. I doubt it was because it worked well until I got the GDE Eco, and then it immediately had bad shudder around 50 mph. Soon to test the new Hemi TC

My Euro TC had no markings identifying it as such. Only the box it came had the correct part number on it.

hmm, I ended up with one that I have no clue about what it is. Too bad there isn't a way to tell. I might be sending them a good Euro as a core next time I need one, lame...
