I recently purchased an 05 liberty crd and have been replacing some worn out parts. It could use new struts in front. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to put an airlift system in place of the struts? Would it be possible?

Nope. Not possible.
But you add air lift to help support the rear springs.

Bilstien front struts are one of the best you can buy at a reasonable price.
