Well after 1k bucks and 6 days the shop found the problem. It was a broken common wire inside the channel under the radiator. Didn't have the correct wiring diagrams to load test individual wire so I gave up and towed it to the shop. I guess the jeep won this round.

Just for future reference; any idea what common wire, i.e. color, size, etc... exact location of break and possibly what caused the wire to break in the first place, i.e. rub, strain, etc...?
