I tried, but when I select a file from the "drivers" folder that came with the software, it says that file is not recognized. it's a ".sys" file. Something like "amt64.sys"

I took a look at my MPPS folder, the drivers are in a folder named "Drives", they were are not in the folder labeled "Device Driver".... :roll:

Right, it should probably be a .DLL file that you are looking for.

The "drives" folder is indeed full of .drv files. The "check" folder is full of .dll files. it still tells me "unable to find drivers" when I select either. :banghead:

Hi All,

Been lurking these forums for a bit, and due to some hoses breaking down due the the EGR (oily residue all through the turbo air intake hose), ive decided to try and do a tune to disable the EGR/FCV. Would love it if someone could double check my work. Have done no tuning as yet, until i can read through the fantastic work of Yeti and everyone to understand all the maps correctly.

Has what i believe to be a 601 software version, which i havent seen or read too much through the 50+ pages. Interestingly it comes up with options for 2 drivers in ECM Titanium.

Would really appreciated if someone could double check my assumptions. Ive only edited 4 locations (+ checksum) for the delete as per Nicks original method. Is there a better way to disable the EGR (ive seen yeti talk about hysterisis maps for an alternative?).

If anyone else has done any mods to a 601 ECU, would love to have a look at what you've come up with.

Im trying to compare whats being changed across a few of the mods that have been created, and to try and match that up with the 601. It appears as though the 513 Hrast has modded has quite similar 2d graphs that look the same as in the 601. Only the 1 map (Phase of injection) is edited, and everything else changed isnt connected to a map from the drivers. Is there any data on what some of the locations edited are actually changing?

In Hrast's 513, at locations 0E275C-0E2773 and 0E27C2-0E27D9 are being zerod out. Is there any information on what that is?

Am i correct in thinking the 2 bumps mentioned above is what disables the EGR as described at https://sites.google.com/site/vagecumap ... 16-hexdump (being the jeep only has the 2 bumps instead of the 5 mentioned for the VW)?

At 0E2130, 0E2150, 0E2170, 0E2190 there is 6 bit changes that zero out small bumps in the 2D maps. What are those bumps mapped to? Is there any information that im missing that would fill in more info outside of the built in driver maps?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to understand whats being changed a bit more. Ive updated my 601 with similar changes based on Hrast's 513 (similar maps, just different locations). if you wouldnt mind having a glance over it.

Some advise; when you get the EGR & FCV disabled in the ECM you should still block off the EGR exhaust feed tube with a block-off plate and remove the FCV butterfly out of the FCV if you are not installing a Weeks elbow kit...

hey guys i would like to run EGR/FCV delete progrsam wth stock torque conv would like a lil horse gain and mpg gain which one of these tunes do you guys recomend i down load my libby is a 06 no major mods {yet}lol

For an 06 with stock torque converter and if you have the 808 file: I would start with this one:
Yeti's 808 EGR/FCV/DTC code delete + Mild tune

I've been running the 808 Mild v1.02 tune for 18 months now on a stock torque converter. Yeti actually added the DTC delete specifically for me to get rid of my check engine light after installing a Weeks kit.

I do get a little bit of shudder if I force it (flooring it on a hill when I'm around 1700rpm in overdrive, for example) but in normal day to day driving it never happens. My philosophy is essentially to run it until it blows up then upgrade to a Hemi TC (and possibly transmission), but it shows no signs of blowing up since I'm not stressing it much at all.

Finally reporting back, the (811) stage 2 tune gives me about the same mpg as stock, with more power. I get 20-22 with lead footed city driving. Just got 26 over a weekend trip, about 4 hours a little higher on the rpm than ideal, as well as driving between town and the boonies all weekend. Only a couple instances of TC shudder accelerating on hills with our strange shift patterns.

I just installed that same 808 v1.02 to get rid of that DTC from the Weeks kit.
The light went out during the flash, but came on again after I started the engine, so now I have to assume I have something ELSE generating the lite.

I just had the Heap at the local stealership today for ABS diagnosis after the 808 v1.02 install last night, and the stealer didn't mention any codes being generated by the missing EGR, or any other codes at all.
I was hoping they'd have cleared them, but alas.....

The engine feels more responsive, so I'm hoping for good things.
