I've just had to replace both front headlight units - someone seems to have tried to burn one and the other got hit by a fairly substantial stone - no damage to any surrounding bodywork. However, having replaced both units the small bulbs (manual calls them front position lights - they're w5w bulbs) no longer work. The headlights do, but not the small w5ws and they did work before the swap. The connectors seem fine.

Any ideas?
