After a long battle with trans/ electrical issues I'm back to driving my libby :)

Ive noticed a lack of bottom end take off power. Stab the throttle and it doesn't like to take off like I remember it doing. Seems doggy at first. Thoughts? And maybe some upgrades to help. Eco tune is on, debating getting the full torque or hot tune

Is it turbo lag? Do you get a puff of soot when you get on the gas off the line?

Mine is great off the line. I typically leave everybody sitting in a cloud of black smoke.
I'm running the DIY YETI hot tune, stage 3 I think, and still get 25 mpg on my heavy footed mixed country road/city driving.

Mine spools up super quick, runs like a drag racer on take off; on wet pavement I have to be careful and not press the go petal to far or the rear tires will brake loose and start spinning...
I am running the Yeti Stage IV HOT tune and it rocks!!! :JEEPIN:

My KJ CRD is faster off the line then the 6.7L diesel in my F350. That thing has torque management which limits torque from a stop meaning its hard to smoke the tires.

Could it be you haven't driven your CRD in such a long time that you forgot what turbo lag feels like? I find it is better to give it a little of the go pedal for a second or two before slamming the go pedal to the firewall.

It most likely is turbo lag, no puff of soot tho, before it went down I recall it did puff a little bit off the line
